About Hans
Born and raised in Holland, Hans has always had a passion for alternative Healing. He has completed courses in foot reflexology, Reiki and Nutritional Medicine, and has been studying and practicing Yoga for over 10 years. He has travelled to various Asian countries such as Nepal, India and Thailand, where he studied and practiced various methods of Yoga, Meditation and Thai Massage.His passion for Thai Massage started in 2001 while visiting Thailand. As well as receiving Thai Massage regularly, he studied and practiced with the local Masters and practitioners for over 3 years.
Upon arrival in Canada in 2003, he has completed and assisted various Lotus Palm courses, as well as having the privilege of studying privately with his Lotus Palm teacher, Mia Blackwell, who has recently opened her Thai Massage School in Victoria. He recently graduated at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Vancouver.
Hans has practiced his Healing Art at many locations in Vancouver and Burnaby. He is now available for appointments at Quidittas on Commercial Drive, Balanced Healing on Hastings, or for to Vancouver and Burnaby. His treatments are non-rushed and thorough, and will leave you feeling deeply nourished, relaxed, and full of energy.

I became interested in Thai massage after my University of Toronto degree in physical health and education and while working with clients in a gym setting as a personal trainer.

The first Thai massage I experienced was in 2000 in New Zealand and I have been taking courses and studying the practice ever since. I trained for years with Banyan Spa as well as ITM in Chang Mai Thailand to refine my skills. I recently took another course with the Academy of Massage and continue to network with other Thai massage therapists.
Having an anatomy and physiology background I was drawn to Thai massage because I could feel and understand how effective it is at increasing flexibility and releasing tension. I found Thai massage to be unique and beneficial in that it is always full body and uses assisted yoga stretches
